About Us

Star Timber was established in 2003 and we have more than 20 years of experience. We import and trade wood and wood-based products to our customers all over Europe. In recent years, we have expanded our product range to also include profiled and machined products, packaging wood, special pallets and EUR pallets.

Today, we are one of Denmark’s largest trading companies in softwood and wood-based products, mainly in pine, spruce and larch.

Our customers are importers and production units in Denmark and the rest of Europe, and we are known in the market as a serious and trustworthy trading partner.

We are deeply involved in many historical restoration projects like windmills, churches and other historical buildings, supplying oak, rubinia, ask and other broad leaved species.

We believe in sustainable forestry in order to secure the resources and natural forest for future generations through our presence in the supply area and we exercise due diligence on all our suppliers in order to comply with the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).

Our mission is to promote and sell certified products whenever available, and we have been FSC^®-certified since 2009 and PEFC-certified since 2015.

Our business is based on many years of cooperation with committed and reliable suppliers and excellent relationships with our customers.
